It was what I hoped for. Delivery was quick and installation was straight forward for one person. It's a nice luxury accessory for the van. It makes a rattling noise when driving but I will add padding inside the casing to quite that soon. As others said, the front and rear bracket should be reversed when installed. It will make mountain biking road trips more enjoyable! Update: It is very noisy! It makes rattling sound on most roads. I added padding to the inside and the mounting brackets. I noticed the center of the awning casing scratched the roof of the van from contact. I added thick adhesive foam to protect the car and limit any potential sound. The long awning flexes when driving and 2 mounting brackets is not enough IMO. I will need to buy another set (30,000yen!) to limit the flex and noise. I have used the awning 3 weekends now and it is great but the noise when driving has been very annoying especially for an item this price! Expect some DIY work after purchase.
